This is a logo mood board i made, it helped me with logo shapes and ideas while trying to make my own logo.

In graphic design, we finished the semester off all making our own websites using dreamweaver. This semester in e-Comm i have learned so much!! I have learned everything from the 6-shot system in video, to understanding how to use these complicated programs like adobe photoshop, illustrator, and dreamweaver. I have had so much fun in e-Comm this semester and i'm so happy to be a part of this program! One of my favorite things that we have done this semester is making short movies and scene's from movies in video production. I have also loved making my own website and designing it how i want it to look. I also loved, in graphic design, making a personal logo that matches who i am and my personality. I have had so much fun this semester and i'm excited to see how our next rotation, which is animation, goes! The pictures below are some screenshots i took of the website we made for our graphic design final.

This is a paper of how good i think i am doing in my graphic design class, It is my performance review.

This is my elevator speech. A short speech i would make if i were trying to get somebody to hire me, while, for example, in an elevator.

This is a color wheel i made in adobe illustrator. The 3 colored circles, yellow, blue, and red, are the three primary colors in a color wheel. The 3 squares are the 3 secondary colors, and the 6 hexagons are the 6 tertiary colors.

This is my personal logo. I chose to use a circle as the main shape because it represents a meaning of wholeness. Red and Black are the colors i chose because red is the color associated with energy, power, determination, and is essentially a very intense color. I am a very energetic, determined person so i feel like it fit very well. I also chose black as the outside color because black represents, like red does, power and authority and is also a very simple color. I like to believe i am a powerful person, like Beyonce. I also love being given authority which is another reason the colors are fitting for me.

Graphic Design

Graphic design is... using words and images to get a message through to people. Many people don't realize it but we see/use graphic design in just about everything we do in our everyday lives. We use graphic design to create things that people will remember and that creates mood or feeling. I feel like graphic design is an amazing thing to have in our lives. I feel like using graphic design is a way to speak to people and communicate with them and if done right, they will fell like the product they are buying has been made from a person and that will create a warm feeling rather than being made from a plain, cold machine. Without graphic design we would live in a plain, boring world.

Article Review

       The main objective in the article "They loved your GPA, then saw your Tweets" by Natasha singer, is that what you say and do on the internet and on your social media's can follow you and schools look at that stuff. Some schools don't let what you say on the internet affect the administration process, but some schools view those things you say as what kind of student you will be and it can affect the process.
       A quote from the story that does surprise me is in the second paragraph where it says "Perhaps she hadn't realized that colleges keep tract of their social media" because before i read tis article i had no idea that colleges and schools actually viewed students social media.
      A quote that confused me was in paragraph 7 when it said "students' social media and digital footprint can sometimes play a role in the administration process", it confused me because i don't understand how what students say on the internet, that is unrelate to school, have any affect on how their academics are and how the preform in school.
      After reading and reviewing this article, i will make sure everything i say on the internet is appropriate and something i wouldn't mind future colleges or even my school right now looking at.

chase HBurnfin

In this project we were supposed to create a chase scene. My partner and i had to brainstorm an idea, create the storyboard, and  recruit actors to be in our short ilm. Then we had to edit the video using final cut pro and try to find the perfect fitting music for the video.  I think the goal of this project is to teach us different methods of filming and working with the actors. I have learned better teamwork skills because you and your partner both have to try to direct the film together and cooroperate on ideas, i always learned to how get music from youtube and put it in your video, and how to better edit on final cut pro. If i were to go back and redo the film i might have tried to come up with a more creative idea, rather than just trying to get to class on time, but i would probably still use a similar editing and filming footage. through this project i have widened my filming and editing skills
